Tanglewood FX3BRY Flex Ultra 3m Guitar Cable, Blackberry Poly Braid, Straight Jack

A deep blackberry lead with a straight jack at each end

The Tanglewood FX3BRY is a 3 metre guitar cable from the Flex Ultra range, dressed in a dark blackberry poly braid. It suits players who want a dependable straight to straight jack lead that looks a little different from the usual black cable on the floor. If you are after a good guitar cable for a pedalboard or amp, this one covers it.

Built to be handled

The poly braid outer is the main feature here. It slides over the stage floor without catching, it coils easily and it does not fight you when you unwrap it. That helps if you plug in and pack away several times a week, whether at rehearsals, gigs or at home.

Straight jacks, flexible routing

Both ends are straight jacks, which makes this a simple, general purpose instrument cable. Use it between guitar and amp, guitar and pedals, or from a pedalboard out to an amplifier. Three metres gives you enough room to move about without leaving a pile of slack at your feet.

Signal you can trust

A good lead should not colour your sound. The Flex Ultra design aims to pass your tone through cleanly, so your pick attack, your volume swells and your drive pedals all arrive at the amp as you played them.

• Length: 3 metres

Playing a guitar with a side mounted or recessed socket? Look at the angled version, the FX3BRYA, which keeps the same colour. The rest of the Flex Ultra range comes in carbon black, lakeshore green, merlot and ocean blue, so you can match leads to your setup. At £17.99 the FX3BRY is an easy upgrade for a tired old lead.
