Beginner Electric Guitar Options

If you want a good beginner electric guitar, start with Northstar. Models such as the NS1BK double cutaway and the NS2CB single cutaway are £139. The Littlestar range is the place to look for a smaller electric guitar. The NL1BK is £139 and the NL6JP offset is £199.

Stepping Up

Northstar Pro starts at £199. The NSP3BL and NSP3GT have an arched top and are £299, while the NSP4CB is an offset design at £229. The NSP5BKG is a semi acoustic at £299.

Chicago Semi-Acoustic

Choosing Between Them

Building a Starter Setup

An electric guitar needs a few extras before you can play it. At minimum, you need an amplifier, a lead and a spare set of strings. A tuner is also worth having while you learn.
