Tanglewood NS1VW Northstar Double Cutaway Electric Guitar, Vintage White Gloss

Vintage white gloss for a classic electric look

Vintage white gives the Tanglewood NS1VW a classic electric guitar look. This white electric guitar pairs a gloss finish with a poplar double cutaway body and three single coil pickups, so it looks familiar and plays easily.

A classic colour

White gloss over a double cutaway body suits clean, chiming playing and looks good under stage lights. The poplar body is light and balanced, and the cutaways make the upper frets simple to reach.

Neck and fingerboard

The maple neck with Roseacer stripe adds a dark accent against the white body. A caramel maple fingerboard gives a smooth surface for fast changes, and chrome die cast machine heads keep the tuning steady.

Sound

Clear, bright tones come from the trio of ceramic single coils. Play clean for rhythm and arpeggios, or add overdrive for lead lines that cut through a mix.

Who it suits

The poplar body and maple neck keep the guitar light, so it stays comfortable through a long practice session or a full rehearsal. The gloss finish wipes clean easily, and the chrome hardware gives a tidy match against the white paint. Set the amp to a clean channel and you get a sound that feels right at home with pop, indie and classic rock parts.

White tends to appeal to players who like a retro, stage-ready look without fuss. It makes a friendly first electric because the controls are simple and the neck feels comfortable in a beginner's hand. More experienced guitarists may want it as a light, cheerful second instrument for clean tones and practice at home. Gloss white also shows off a coloured strap nicely if you like to personalise your setup.

The NS1 range shares one spec across five colours, so this is a decision about looks. Put it next to the NS1BL in metallic blue for a bolder choice, or the NS1BK in solid black for a darker one.
