Tanglewood FX3LGA Flex Ultra 3m Angled Guitar Cable, Lakeshore Green Poly Braid

Green braid with an angled jack for side inputs

The Tanglewood FX3LGA pairs a lakeshore green poly braid with a practical angled plug. It is a 3 metre guitar cable with one angled and one straight jack, shaped to sit neatly against guitars with a socket on the side. It is the choice if you want colour and a better fit at the socket.

Angled at the guitar

An angled jack turns the cable down along the body instead of out into the room. That means less leverage on the input socket if the lead gets pulled or trodden on. Put the angled end in your guitar and the straight end in your amp.

Braid and handling

The green weave does more than catch the eye. It resists tangling and wear, stays flexible after repeated coiling and travels well in a gig bag. Gigging players will like how easily it packs away.

Shielded for clarity

Good shielding and internal wiring keep your tone intact, with bright detail on top and weight underneath. It is equally at home in a live room or a recording session.

Gigging and travelling

If the lead goes in and out of a gig bag often, the braided jacket is a real help. It does not hold a set kink, so you can wrap it up quickly after a show and have it ready for the next one. The angled end also stops the plug snagging on straps and clothing, which is easy to overlook until it happens mid song. Three metres keeps you mobile on smaller stages.

Not bothered about the angle? The FX3LG has two straight plugs and costs £17.99. If green is not your colour, the angled range also includes blackberry (FX3BRYA), merlot (FX3MA) and ocean blue (FX3OBA). At £19.99 the FX3LGA is a sensible upgrade for the input jack on a guitar you care about.
