Tanglewood FX3SG Flex Ultra 3m Guitar Lead, Storm Grey, Straight Jacks

Storm Grey, 3 metres, straight jacks both ends

Plain, tidy and ready to plug in. The Tanglewood FX3SG is a 3 metre guitar lead in Storm Grey poly braid, fitted with a straight jack at each end. It is a sensible pick if your guitar has a standard front or top-mounted input and you want a cable that does not shout for attention.

Simple connections

Straight plugs at both ends mean the lead works anywhere. Use it between guitar and amp, guitar and pedalboard, or a pedalboard and an audio interface. There is no left or right end to remember, so setting up in a hurry is easy.

A neutral look with a flexible braid

The grey finish blends into most rigs, with black, silver or mixed colour pedals. The poly braid keeps the lead light and bendy, and it helps stop the loops and knots that waste time at the end of a session. It is built for regular coiling and carrying, and for the odd tread from a boot.

Tone

Flex Ultra cables are made to carry your signal cleanly. Expect a quiet lead that lets the character of your guitar and amp come through without fuss.

Where it fits best

This is a good everyday lead for a practice room, a home studio desk or a small gig. Keep one coiled in the guitar case as a spare and you will never be stuck when a cable gives up. The braid is easy to wipe down and simple to untangle, and the three metre length keeps the floor tidy without pulling tight.

At £17.99 this is one of the lower priced Flex Ultra leads. If your guitar has a side-mounted socket, the FX3SGA has the same grey braid with an angled plug at one end. Need to roam further from the amp? The 6 metre FX6SG is the same style with more length. For a home rig or a rehearsal room, three metres is usually plenty.
