Tanglewood FX6A Flex 6 Metre Angled Jack Rubber Guitar Cable, Black

Six metres of rubber cable for when you need to roam

Length is the point of the Tanglewood FX6A. It is a 6 metre guitar cable in black rubber, with one straight jack and one angled jack. Choose it when 3 metres will not reach, such as a bigger stage, a large rehearsal room or a pedalboard set well back from your amp.

Room to move

Six metres lets you cross a stage, step away from the amp to hear the room, or run a cable around a more complicated setup without pulling it tight. It is also handy when your amp sits on the floor behind a drum kit or at the back of a room. Most players will not need this much at home, so it suits gigging, studio and large-room use best.

Rubber and angled

The black rubber jacket keeps the cable flexible, which matters on a longer run because it needs to lie flat and coil without kinking. The angled plug suits a guitar whose input socket is on the side or set into the body. It sits close to you and reduces strain on the input.

That matters more with a long cable, because the extra weight of the lead pulls on the plug. An angled end handles that better than a straight one. Use the straight end at the amp or pedalboard, where the pull is less of a problem.

Compare in the range

If you only need 3 metres, the FX3A has the same rubber build and the same angled plug at a lower price. If you want the longer length but like a braided look, the FX6BBA adds black and blue braid, and the FX6WB is a black and white braid with straight jacks. The FX6A is the plain, practical option when distance matters more than style.
