Tanglewood FX6OB Flex Ultra 6m Guitar Cable, Ocean Blue, Straight Jacks

A long Ocean Blue lead with straight plugs

The Tanglewood FX6OB is a 6 metre guitar cable in Ocean Blue poly braid with a straight jack at each end. It is the straightforward long option in the Flex Ultra range, and it costs less than the angled six metre leads.

Why go for six metres

Some rigs need more than a short run. A big pedalboard, a wide stage or a rehearsal room with the amp in the corner all call for extra length. This lead gives you that reach in one piece, so you avoid adding connectors that could add noise or fail.

Straight plugs

With a straight jack at both ends, the cable suits guitars with a normal front or top socket. It also fits amps, pedalboards and interfaces with no fuss. Either end can go to the guitar.

Colour and durability

The blue braid has plenty of personality and is easy to see on the floor. It is built to stand up to tangling, rubbing and regular use. The inside of the cable aims for low noise, so highs stay crisp and lows stay full along the whole length.

Easy to live with

A straight to straight lead is the simplest cable there is, and that is its strength. You can swap ends, reuse it with a bass or a keyboard, or move it between rigs. The length gives you flexibility, and the blue braid keeps it from getting lost in a tangle of darker cables on the floor or in the gig bag.

If your guitar has a side-mounted socket, take a look at the FX3OBA, which has an angled plug in a 3 metre length. For a shorter straight lead in this blue, the FX3OB is cheaper still. The FX6OB suits players who want long reach and strong colour at a fair price.
