Tanglewood NGA10 Northstar 10 Watt Acoustic Guitar Amp with Clean and Drive Channels

A small practice amp with two channels

The Tanglewood NGA10 is a compact 10 watt Northstar amplifier for home practice and small sessions. It is a simple, low cost acoustic guitar amp that is easy to set up and carry, so it suits anyone who wants a dependable amp for everyday playing without a complicated control panel.

Two channels

You get a clean channel and a drive channel. Use the clean side for chords, picked patterns and bright lead lines. Switch to drive when you want some grit and distortion for rock or blues. Changing between the two is quick, so you can try different styles without any fuss.

Shape your tone

Treble and bass controls let you adjust the sound to suit your guitar and your room. Turn the treble up for a cutting, bright tone or add bass for a fuller, deeper one. It is an easy way to learn how EQ changes the sound.

Quiet practice

A stereo headphone socket means you can play late at night or when the house needs to stay quiet. The sound stays private and you can still hear every detail of your playing.

Easy to live with

The controls are laid out plainly, so you can plug in and play within a minute. It is small enough to sit on a shelf or a desk, light enough to carry from room to room, and powerful enough for a jam with a friend or two. Many players keep one by the sofa for picking up a guitar whenever the mood strikes.
