The Tanglewood OGBD10 is a padded guitar gig bag from the Adventurer series, made for the larger acoustic body shapes. It takes the dreadnought (#5), Venetian auditorium (#6) and orchestra/folk (#3) shapes, so it suits anyone who wants an easy way to get a full-size acoustic out of the house.

Protection without the bulk

Inside you get 10mm of foam padding. It is enough to take the edge off everyday knocks and scrapes, while keeping the bag slim and light. A hard case gives more armour, but it is heavy and awkward on a bus or a train. This bag is the sensible choice when you want to travel light.

The outer shell is 600-denier cloth that resists rain. A sudden shower on the walk to a rehearsal will not soak through to your guitar.

Carrying and storage

The OGBD10 has padded back straps, so you can wear it as a backpack and keep both hands free. When you only need to go a short way, use the side carry handle instead. There is also an A4 music book pocket on the outside.

Who it suits
