Tanglewood OGBEM Mandolin Padded Gig Bag, Envoy Series

A slim, padded carry bag made to fit a mandolin

The Tanglewood OGBEM mandolin gig bag is a compact carry case built around the smaller body of a mandolin. If you take yours to sessions, rehearsals or lessons, it gives you a snug place to keep it. It is also a sensible padded guitar gig bag choice for anyone who wants Envoy series quality in a smaller size.

Protection for everyday knocks

The outer is a rain-resistant denier fabric, so a shower on the walk to the car or the venue is not a worry. Inside sits 15mm of foam padding. That layer takes the edge off bumps and scrapes when the bag is on a shoulder, in a boot or leaning against a wall.

Because the bag is cut for a mandolin, there is no wasted space. Your instrument stays put and the bag stays slim.

Easy to carry

Two ways to carry it are built in, so you can pick whichever suits the trip.

• A padded carry handle for short walks and quick moves
• Adjustable shoulder straps for longer trips
• Black fabric with orange Envoy detailing
• Lightweight build that adds very little to your load

Looks that match the range

The black and orange styling is shared across the Envoy series. It looks neat on a stage floor and is easy to spot in a pile of cases at a busy session.

Who it suits

This bag is for mandolin players who want dependable protection without a bulky hard case. It is a good partner for a band rehearsal, a folk night or a weekend away. If you also play other instruments, the Envoy range has matching bags. The OGBET travel bag fits travel guitars, and the OGBED suits a dreadnought. Each is priced at around the same level, so you can kit out a whole collection in one style.

At £34.99 with free UK delivery, it is an easy way to look after your mandolin.
