Tanglewood TLSS2 SupaClean Luthiers Secret Instrument Disinfectant 100ml

Disinfect your instrument without harming the finish

The Tanglewood TLSS2 SupaClean is an instrument disinfectant for musicians who share rooms, stages or lessons. It is a guitar cleaner with a hygiene job, made in the United Kingdom and sold in a 100ml bottle. You can use it before and after playing.

What you can use it on

Tanglewood checked this formula against many kinds of instrument. It suits wind, brass and string instruments with a lacquer finish, plus mouthpieces and synthetic reeds. That makes it handy if your household has a guitarist, a violinist and a trumpet player. It should not be sprayed straight onto stainless steel, as that can damage the finish.

How to use it

• Give the bottle a good shake
• Mist the part of the instrument you want to treat
• Leave it to work for half a minute at the very least
• To go deeper, let the liquid sit for a quarter of an hour
• Wipe over with a dry microfibre cloth that is clean

Made for carrying around

The compact bottle slips into a case, gig bag or stand bag, so it is easy to use at home, at rehearsal, in a teaching room or on the road. It is a small item that earns its place in the bag if you pass instruments between people, and it lasts well for its size. A Safety Data Sheet is available for this product.

Compare with the other care products

SupaClean disinfects. It does not condition or add shine. For the fingerboard look at the LemOil TLSL1 at £7, and for polishing a lacquered body choose the Golden Polish TLSP3, also £7. Many players keep all three in the case, as each one does a different job.

The TLSS2 costs £6.99 with free UK delivery.
