Tanglewood EMC44 Enredo Madera Comienzo Full Size Classical Guitar

A full size classical guitar at an easy price

Looking for a classical guitar that will not stretch the budget? The Tanglewood EMC44 comes from the Enredo Madera Comienzo series and has a standard size body. It gives you a traditional nylon string feel at a price that suits a first instrument, a practice guitar or a spare to keep by the sofa.

Why a full size body matters

Learning on the standard proportions means the technique you build carries over to any classical guitar you pick up later. Posture, hand position and reach all feel familiar. Nylon strings are also kind to fingertips, so early practice is more comfortable than on steel strings.

Spruce top, linden body

The top is spruce, a wood players choose for a bright, clear voice that carries well. The back and sides are linden, which rounds the sound out with some warmth. Together they give a balanced tone for single note melodies and for full chords alike.

Satin finish and easy handling

The natural satin finish lets the wood show through and feels smooth under your hand. There is no sticky gloss to slow you down when you move along the neck. The fingerboard is Techwood, so it stays consistent and needs little care.

Who it suits

This is a standard size body, so you learn on the proportions that classical technique is built around. It works for lessons, home practice and light performance. It has no pickup, so it is a purely acoustic instrument.

• Full size classical body
• Spruce top with linden back and sides
• Techwood fingerboard
• Natural satin finish
