Tanglewood EMETLCE Enredo Madera Elegante Thinline Electro Classical Guitar

Plug in a nylon string guitar on stage

Most classical guitars are built for the living room. The Tanglewood EMETLCE is built to be plugged in. It is a thinline electro classical guitar with a cutaway, a slim body and onboard electronics, so it is ready for gigs, church bands and open mic nights as well as quiet practice.

Slim body, cutaway access

The thinline shape is lighter and less bulky than a standard classical body. The cutaway gives your fretting hand easier access to the upper part of the neck. The top, back and sides are all linden, and the fingerboard is Eboncore. The sound is balanced and clear, with a responsive midrange.

Electronics

The guitar carries TEQ QX electronics with onboard controls. You can shape the amplified tone at the guitar, which helps when you have little time before you play. Plugged in, the nylon string sound stays natural.

Finish

The metallic grey satin finish is a modern look, far from the usual plain wood. It is smooth to the touch and gives the body a protective coat.

Playing live

A thinline body usually means less feedback when the volume goes up, which is a real help on a busy stage. You can sit with it for a long rehearsal and it stays comfortable. Plug into an acoustic amp or a PA and you have a nylon string sound ready for the room.
