Take the Tanglewood TB3E as the plugged-in version of the Blackbird TB3. It is an electro acoustic guitar with an orchestra/folk body, mahogany top, back and sides, Tanglewood Premium Plus electronics and a Smokestack Black Satin finish.

Orchestra/folk body, no cutaway

There is no cutaway here, so the body is kept traditional and balanced. It is comfortable for long sessions and works well for both strumming and fingerstyle. If you rarely play high on the neck, you lose nothing and keep a classic look.

Mahogany sound

The all-mahogany build gives a warm, focused tone with good clarity in the midrange. Played acoustically it is rounded and easy on the ear, which is why it suits songwriting and rehearsals as well as gigs.

Looks and feel

The Smokestack Black Satin finish is understated and clean, with a smooth surface that is comfortable on your forearm. It looks right on a stage and equally at home on a stand in the living room. Mahogany grain is still visible under the finish, so it does not look like a plain black slab.
