Left-handed players rarely get a good choice of compact guitars, and the Tanglewood TRX2ELH fixes that. It is a left-handed electro acoustic guitar built on a compact travel body, so you get a proper left-handed instrument rather than a right-handed one restrung.

What it is made from

The top is spruce, chosen for its clear, bright voice and projection. The back and sides are ovangkol, which brings a warmer, slightly darker character to balance the top. The fingerboard is Eboncore. The result is an even, lively tone that works for chords and single notes alike.

Ready to plug in

A Tanglewood TEQ MX system is fitted, so you can connect to an amp or PA and set the EQ without extra gear. It makes the guitar useful on a stage as well as in a hotel room.

Looks

The natural gloss finish keeps the grain on show and gives the wood a protective coat.

Because the strings, nut and saddle are set up for a left-handed player, you strum and pick in the natural way. There is no need to flip a right-handed guitar upside down and live with the controls in the wrong place.
