Left-handed players rarely get much choice, so it is good news that the Tanglewood TW4 comes in a version built for you. The TW4CEAVBLH is a left handed electro acoustic guitar with a mid-sized super folk body, a solid mahogany top and a cutaway, finished in Autumn Vintage Gloss and priced at £469.

Made for your hands

Because it is built left-handed from the start, the cutaway sits on the correct side and you never have to flip and restring a right-handed model. Your fretting hand gets clear room to reach the upper frets on the Techwood fingerboard. The super folk shape is slimmer and shallower than a dreadnought, so it rests easily on your leg when you play sitting down and does not dig into your arm.

Warm, mellow mahogany

The top is solid mahogany, and Tanglewood uses mahogany for the back and sides as well. That all-mahogany build gives a rounded, woody tone with a strong middle and soft, gentle highs. It suits fingerstyle, folk and quieter singer-songwriter sets, where a bright spruce guitar can sound a little harsh. Chords come out smooth and even, and single notes have a pleasing warmth.
