Body and sound

The slope shoulder dreadnought is a classic acoustic shape, with a larger body that moves plenty of air. There is no cutaway here, which keeps the body traditional and the bass strong. The top is solid Engelmann spruce for clarity and response. The back is solid mahogany and the sides are mahogany for warmth and a firm midrange.

Neck and finish

The fingerboard is Indian rosewood. The natural satin finish feels smooth and looks understated, a good match for the plain, honest style of a working guitar.

Fishman Presys

Electronics are by Fishman Presys. The preamp has volume, bass and treble controls plus phase, so you can shape the sound when you plug into a PA or an acoustic amp.
