Sound from solid mahogany

Some people expect a white guitar to sound bright. This one does the opposite. The solid mahogany top, backed by mahogany back and sides, gives a round, warm tone with a strong middle and soft top end. Chords sound full without getting harsh, and the guitar sits nicely behind a vocal. Because the top is solid wood, it responds to how hard or soft you play, so you get more expression from light fingerpicking as well as firm strumming.

Comfort and amplification

The super folk shape is a happy medium between a small parlour and a big dreadnought. It projects well, but it does not swamp a smaller player, and it is relaxed to hold for hours. The cutaway gives you room to reach the high frets. Tanglewood Premium Plus electronics with EQ let you plug into an acoustic amp, a PA or an audio interface and set your tone at the guitar.

This is one of three colour versions in the Tanglewood Winterleaf Blonde line. The TW4CEBLA comes in Blue Gloss and the TW4CEBLB in Barossa Red Gloss, both at the same price and with the same woods and electronics. If you want the lightest, freshest look of the three with that warm mahogany sound, go for the white. Free UK delivery is included.
